Unplugging From the Masses

In this day and age it's the norm to stay connected to others through the internet and social networks, weather it's sharing the funniest memes, or keeping up with the latest trends, news, scandals and entanglements.

But after awhile even that can become draining, sure you may want to stay in touch with the internet friends you've made but sometimes you may have to power down and unplug for a bit. I've always known about people taking breaks from social media, especially Facebook and i'm started to really understand how beneficial that can be for your mental well being. Weather it's just for a day or a whole month.

I've personally haven't done such a thing yet on my own will, besides the various times being put in Facebook Jail. But I'm finally ready to start taking breaks and it will mainly be Facebook since i use it the most. I'm not sure when i'll exactly do it; it'll most likely be a random day where i dont wanna be bothered with social media and I'll remove the whole app for probably a day or whenever i do want to use it again.

However, When I move out and have everything settled I want to try to dedicate a whole week (or more) off social media and dedicate my time back to my crafts and art. You may wonder why cant i do that now? I COULD but the living space i'm in now is NOT IDEAL to do what i really want to do and its very frustrating.

So, til then. i'm taking it a day at a time to achieve the goals i want to reach.
