GENKI RAMEN: An Authentic Journey

This past Tuesday on June 9th I was introduced to a restaurant called Genki Ramen , Located in Mason, Ohio. It recently opened for business not to long ago but they've quickly became a favorite to the locals.

The restaurant itself is fairly small so dining is very limited, but they do deliver and have carry out as well. I must say you get a lot for what you pay considering everything is less than 20$!

I didn't eat much prior to visiting so i wasn't sure if i wanted a ramen bowl or a rice bowl so i got both! which was the Genki Miso Ramen with miso broth , bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, soft boiled seasoned egg, green onion, chives, wakame seaweed w/ stir fried minced pork. First off, the presentation of the bowl was straight out of an anime. it was so good! the broth really brought it together.

The 2nd entree i got was the Curry chicken Katsu Don which was a deep fried prime chicken breast w/ Japanese curry sauce served with rice

My boyfriend Mikey got the Chicken Karaage starter and the Genki Shoyu Ramen which has soy sauce flavored soup broth w/ bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, soft boiled egg, corn, green onions, wakame seaweed, & BBQ pork. this was his 3rd visit to the place so he has had other menu items prior.

Our fried Rae had the Genki Veggie Ramen with Veggie broth topped with organic mix salad,tomato, boiled vegetable & corn and the Fried Agi Tofu for a starter.

Overall it was a great experience for all of us! I would definitely eat from them again. 10/10 highly recommend.
